Have you ever looked at your wardrobe and thought, “I have plenty of clothes. So why do I have absolutely nothing to wear?” Or bought something because it looked gorgeous in the shop, only to realise that it doesn’t really feel like you?

That’s because personal style is about more than having nice clothes.

You can know your best colours, understand your body shape and even know which hairstyles and accessories suit your face – but that still doesn’t necessarily tell you how you actually want to dress.

That’s where your personal style identity comes in.

Your style should reflect your lifestyle, personality, preferences, colouring, proportions and the way you want to feel in your clothes. It shouldn’t require you to squeeze yourself into a category simply because someone on TikTok decided you’re supposed to be “quiet luxury” this season.

The AI Personal Style Identity Analysis is the final step in the Personal Style System. It brings together the information you’ve gathered from your previous analyses and turns it into a personalised style blueprint designed around your actual life.

With this AI Personal Style Identity analysis, you’ll discover:

  • Your primary style personality
  • Your secondary style personality
  • Your signature style direction
  • The three words that define your style
  • Your signature silhouettes
  • Outfit formulas for your lifestyle
  • Your shopping priorities
  • Your capsule wardrobe direction
  • Your complete personal style blueprint

And this is where all the pieces start to come together.

Your colour season helps determine which colours work for you. Your body shape helps identify which silhouettes complement your proportions. Your face shape helps with the details that frame you. Your lifestyle tells us what you actually need to wear.

This prompt takes all of that information – along with your own preferences and style goals – and asks the much bigger question:

What does my personal style actually look like?

The result isn’t a list of clothes you should buy. It’s a clearer picture of the woman you want your wardrobe to reflect.

*AI prompt personal style identity FAQ

Which AI Should I Use?

These prompts have been specifically designed and extensively tested for ChatGPT. You are welcome to experiment with other AI platforms if you wish, but results may vary significantly. Because every AI model interprets prompts differently, I cannot guarantee the same level of quality or accuracy outside of ChatGPT.

What if I only have the free version of ChatGPT?

If you’re using the free version of ChatGPT, you may reach your daily usage limit before completing every prompt in the personal style system, and that’s completely okay. Simply start a new chat when you’re able and upload your photograph again before continuing with the next prompt. Please note that free ChatGPT accounts may only allow approximately 2–3 image analyses or reports per day, depending on OpenAI’s current usage limits. These limits may change over time and are outside of my control.

What is the Personal Style System?

The Personal Style System is a series of seven AI-powered style prompts designed to help you understand what colours, beauty choices, silhouettes and styles work best for you. Rather than looking at your wardrobe in isolation, the system builds a complete picture of your personal style – from your natural colouring and facial features to your body shape, lifestyle and style personality. You can complete each analysis individually, or work through all seven to create a complete personal style blueprint.

What are the six Personal Style prompts?

The Personal Style System includes six personalised AI analyses:

  1. AI Personal Colour Analysis — Discover your 12-season colour palette, undertone, best neutrals, metals, patterns and colours to avoid.
  2. AI Makeup Colour Analysis — Find the makeup shades that complement your colouring, including foundation, blush, eyeshadow and lipstick.
  3. AI Hair Colour Analysis — Discover your most flattering hair colour direction, highlights, dimension and shades to avoid.
  4. AI Face Shape Analysis — Understand your facial proportions and discover flattering hairstyles, makeup placement, glasses, earrings and necklines.
  5. AI Body Shape Analysis — Learn which silhouettes, fabrics, prints and colour combinations create balance and proportion for your body.
  6. AI Personal Style Identity — Bring everything together to create your signature aesthetic, outfit formulas, shopping priorities and wardrobe direction.

Which Personal Style prompt should I do first?

I recommend starting with this prompt first: AI Personal Colour Analysis. Colour analysis provides useful information for several of the later prompts, particularly your makeup, hair and colour style recommendations. For the best results, follow the system in this order: Colour → Makeup → Hair → Colour Style → Face Shape → Body Shape → Personal Style Identity. You don’t have to complete them all at once. You can work through them at your own pace.

How does the Personal Style Identity prompt use my other results?

Your Personal Style Identity is designed to bring everything together. It considers your colour season, body shape, face shape, lifestyle, wardrobe preferences and fashion goals to help identify the style direction that feels most authentic to you. This is why I recommend completing the earlier analyses first. The more information you have, the more personalised your final style identity can be.

What will I learn from the Personal Style Identity analysis?

Your final style analysis is designed to help you answer the question: “What is my style?” You’ll discover your primary and secondary style personalities, three words that define your style, your signature style direction, shopping priorities and outfit formulas. You’ll also receive outfit inspiration based on your lifestyle, colour season, body shape and face shape.

Can I have more than one personal style?

Absolutely. Most of us don’t fit neatly into one style category – and you don’t need to. Your analysis can identify a primary and secondary style personality, allowing combinations such as Modern Classic + Feminine, Quiet Luxury + Casual Chic or Elegant + Romantic. Your style should work for your actual life, not force you into a box.

Do I need to know my body shape, face shape or colour season before doing the Personal Style Identity prompt?

It’s recommended, but not essential. The Personal Style Identity prompt is designed to use the results from the other Personal Style System analyses where available. If you’ve already completed them, include those results when prompted. If you haven’t, you can still complete the analysis using your photographs, lifestyle and preferences.

Why do I need photographs?

The AI uses your photographs to understand your natural colouring, proportions and features. This is particularly important for the colour, face shape and body shape analyses. For the best results, read the Personal Style Photo Guide before taking your photographs. It explains exactly what photographs to take and how to photograph yourself in consistent, natural lighting.

What if my results don’t feel right?

AI analysis is a useful styling tool, but it isn’t a replacement for an in-person professional consultation. If something doesn’t seem right, you can tell ChatGPT what you’re unsure about and provide additional information or photographs. The prompts also include verification questions designed to help reduce inaccurate assumptions. Use the results as guidance rather than rigid rules. Personal style should ultimately make you feel confident and comfortable.
